These will either take the form of detaching and interchanging the containers to and from a stationary compactor or the compactor itself will be designed to detach and travel up and down a line of stationary containers. This allows the waste recyclers and particular civic amenity site operators to exchange full containers without the need to rely on a transport vehicle being available.
